Implementation of the Company's Social Bond Program

Although FELCRA was corporatized in 1997, its functions and roles have been maintained to promote the economic advancement of rural communities, even as the world faces the era of globalization in line with current developments. Therefore, the modernization of rural farming communities is essential to ensure that rural resources and the socio-economic level of village communities can be improved and developed.

The FELCRA Berhad Corporatization Agreement of 1997 states that FELCRA Berhad is required to allocate a sum of RM4.3 million annually to implement social bond activities for its participants based on the following information:

The Social Bond Program implemented by FELCRA Berhad aligns with the philosophy of rural development and aims to meet the needs, benefits, and welfare of target groups in efforts to improve their quality of life.

Additionally, FELCRA Berhad's Corporate Social Responsibility is carried out based on two main focuses:

  1. Emphasizing physical development, including infrastructure and basic amenities.
  2. Focusing on human capital development in terms of leadership and skill enhancement.

The Participant Affairs Group fulfills its social responsibility by dividing service activities into four main management sections: the Participant Management and Relations Section, the Socioeconomic Resource Management Section, the Entrepreneurship Management Section, and the Institutional Management Section.
