Academically, Dato’ Sri Ahmad Jazlan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West of Scotland, United Kingdom, where his research focused on Strategic Orientation in Adopting an Open Approach to Innovation on Business Performance: A Study on Rural Development. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship from the London Examinations Board (LEB), providing a strong foundation for his expertise in organisational management, entrepreneurship development, and strategic leadership.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as the Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development, as well as Chairman of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) and Chairman of the National Kenaf and Tobacco Board (LKTN). These appointments have equipped him with extensive knowledge and practical experience in rural development, the agri-commodity sector, public policy, and the management of national-level organisations.

YBhg. Dato’ Sri Suriani binti Dato’ Ahmad is a senior Administrative and Diplomatic Officer (PTD) with more than three decades of distinguished service in the Malaysian public sector. Throughout her career, she has led several key ministries and national strategic organisations, with a strong focus on good governance, policy development, organisational transformation, and the delivery of high-impact public services.
She holds a Bachelor of Communication (Honours) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in Strategy and Diplomacy from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She also completed the Diploma in Public Administration at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), further strengthening her expertise in public sector leadership and strategic management.
Dato’ Sri Suriani began her career in 1994 as an Assistant Director at the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), Prime Minister’s Department. She later served for more than a decade at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), holding various leadership positions including Director of Division and Special Officer to the Minister. Her professional experience was further enhanced through the Government’s Cross Fertilization Programme at PROTON Holdings Berhad, broadening her expertise in corporate governance and organisational transformation.
Over the course of her career, she has held numerous strategic leadership positions, including Division Secretary and Deputy Secretary-General at the Ministry of Defence, Deputy Secretary-General at the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia, the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, and the Ministry of Health Malaysia. In 2026, she was appointed Secretary-General of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) to lead the nation’s rural and regional development agenda through sustainable and inclusive initiatives.
In addition to her official responsibilities, Dato’ Sri Suriani actively contributes to national development through her involvement in various professional organisations and advisory bodies. She serves as an Adjunct Professor at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and has held appointments on several boards of directors and advisory councils. She is also actively involved with the Administrative and Diplomatic Officers Association (PPTD), PUSPANITA Malaysia, and numerous professional and community-based organisations.

Puan Nor Azizati binti Hamzah is a senior Administrative and Diplomatic Officer (PTD) with extensive experience in public financial management, strategic planning, organisational development, and public sector governance. With more than 28 years of service in the Malaysian public sector, she has led numerous strategic portfolios across key ministries and federal agencies, particularly in the areas of national financial management and budget administration.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), a Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), and a Master of Public Health (International Health) from Boston University, United States. Her academic background has provided a strong foundation in public policy, organisational development, and financial administration.
Throughout her career, Puan Nor Azizati has served in several key ministries, including the Ministry of Health Malaysia, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. Among the strategic positions she has held are Principal Assistant Director of Budget, Undersecretary of the Finance Division at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Deputy Director of the National Budget Office, and Undersecretary of the Strategic and Corporate Financial Control Division at the Ministry of Finance Malaysia.
Her primary area of expertise is public financial management, supported by 17 years of experience in government budgeting and financial administration. In addition, she has extensive experience in human resource management, organisational development, and social and infrastructure management, making her well-equipped in policy formulation, strategic resource management, and strengthening organisational governance.
Her commitment and excellence in public service have been recognised through numerous awards and honours, including the Excellent Service Award, the Secretary-General’s Special Certificate of Appreciation, and the Darjah Seri Melaka (D.S.M.). His academic qualifications, combined with extensive professional experience, have equipped him with strong expertise in strategic management, organisational development, and public sector administration.
Throughout his distinguished career, Datuk Badrul Hisham has served in several key ministries, including the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Works, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. He has held numerous senior leadership positions, including Senior Private Secretary to the Minister, Division Secretary, and Deputy Secretary-General, with responsibilities encompassing policy development, resource management, sectoral development, and the coordination of national strategic initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from Creighton University, United States. He is also a licensed Licensed Treasury Dealer accredited by the Financial Markets Association Malaysia, and holds the Securities Dealer’s & Investment Representative qualification awarded by the Hong Kong Securities Institute and the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong. These professional credentials further reinforce his expertise in international financial markets and investment management.
Throughout his career, Tuan Haji Shamsudin has held senior positions in several prominent organisations, including Citibank Berhad, CFC Securities Limited (Hong Kong), Symphony Xen Solutions (Symphony House Berhad Group), R&A Capital Limited, Kumpulan Modal Perdana Sdn. Bhd., and WMC & Associates. His professional experience spans capital market management, business development, corporate finance, strategic client relationship management, wealth management, and financial advisory services for financial institutions and corporate organisations in Malaysia and across the region.
He has also played a significant role in designing and implementing financial solutions for development projects, corporate financing, international trade, and strategic partnerships involving financial institutions, government-linked companies (GLCs), small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and multinational corporations. Dato’ Paduka Hj. Ahmad Bin Kasim is an individual with a solid and outstanding educational background. He completed his Diploma in Agricultural Science at Universiti Pertanian Malaysia, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Universiti Teknologi MARA, and a Master’s Degree in Islamic Studies at Open University Malaysia.
He has received several prestigious awards in recognition of his contributions and services, including the Setia Diraja Kedah (SOK) in 2010, the Darjah Setia Diraja Kedah (DSDK) in 2013, and the Darjah Paduka Sultan Solahudin (DPSS) in 2019.
In the realms of social and business involvement, he serves as a Board Member of Pusat Saudara Baru (PUSBA-MAIK), the President of Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM) Kedah, the Head of Activities and Development Bureau of Nadwah Persuratan Islam Malaysia, and the Secretary of Masjid Al-Ariffin, Jalan Datuk Kumbar, Alor Setar.
At the international level, he represented ABIM at the Islamic Organizations Conference in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1995, and at the Malaysian and Indonesian Students Conference at AIAN Aceh. Professionally, Encik Md Ysahrudin is an entrepreneur in the agriculture and plantation sector, specialising in the palm oil industry since 2005. Prior to this, he served as a Factory Supervisor in the manufacturing sector, where he gained valuable experience in operations management, workforce supervision, and business administration.
He has also made significant contributions to public service through various leadership roles within state institutions and community organisations. Among his notable appointments are Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (ADUN) for Bukit Naning, Board Member of the Johor Public Library Corporation, and Board Member of the Johor State Sports Council. These roles reflect his commitment to advancing community development, education, and public well-being.
In addition, Encik Md Ysahrudin has extensive leadership experience within community and political organisations, including serving as Chief of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Bakri Division and Secretary of the Johor State Leadership Council of PKR. In the field of education, Cik Nor Azmiza is the Founder and Owner of the Dzul Iman Smart Khalifah Kindergarten network, which focuses on delivering quality early childhood education centred on character building, moral values, and academic excellence. Her experience in managing educational institutions has further strengthened her expertise in organisational leadership, curriculum development, and human resource management.
Beyond the education sector, she has extensive experience in humanitarian project management and community development. Among her notable roles was serving as Project Manager at the Jasmine Ash Sham Alternative Education Centre, where she led the establishment of educational centres for Syrian refugee children in Kuala Lumpur under the Malaysia Lifeline for Syria (MLLFS) initiative. She has also served with Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia, Darul Wardah Women’s Protection and Rehabilitation Centre, and the Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia (ABIM), focusing on family development, community welfare, and community empowerment.
